Training and Compliance in Health
and Social Care

SAYi works with care providers to ensure they have systems, processes and skilled staff in place to enable them to meet the compliance requirements of government standards.

Our training service takes an organisation through a step-by-step process to ensure it is meeting all the legal requirements of a CQC inspection.

We can assist in setting up a suitable training process and go through all the checks CQC may carry out.

We also train managers and senior staff on how to conduct supervision and appraisal to include training and development.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC)

The CQC is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England.

The CQC register care services that meet the standards, inspect them to check that they continue to do so, and take action if they fail to meet the standards.

CQC ensures care provided by hospitals, care homes, dentists, ambulances and services in people's homes, etc. meet government standards of quality and safety.

As a provider of health or social care service it is our responsibility to ensure we are meeting the requirements of government standards.

Government Standards

Government standards cover all aspects of care including:

  • Ensuring people are treated with dignity and respect
  • Ensuring food and drink is appropriate and meets people’s needs
  • Making sure that the environment is clean and safe
  • Managing and staffing service

CQC has been given the power to enforce these standards. Care providers are required to demonstrate that they are maintaining acceptable standards and continually improving standards of care.

We can provide guidance for care providers.
